About the Event
The 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act took effect on January 1, 2018, and impacted many high-income and high-net-worth individuals almost immediately. And unless the House, Senate, and the president agree (what are the odds of that happening in today’s world?) to either continue the legislation or modify it, the effects of the Act on individuals are set to expire (sunset) automatically on December 31, 2025.
So bring your sunglasses as David Green gazes into the potential sunset to come and highlights changes to the federal estate tax and individual income tax that are set to occur if no action is taken. Special care will be taken to focus on items that impact charitable giving.
About the speaker: David Green, CPA/PFS, CFP®, AEP® has over 41 years of experience as an accountant and focuses on tax planning for higher-income individuals and estate and gift tax planning. He has presented to the Council many times before.
